The Afianes estate in the Ikarian highlands, overlooking the west of the island, is the point where wine, friends, nature and tradition meet. • The winery is open all year round. • From November 1 to April 31 by appointment • May to October Tuesday to Saturday 16.00 – 23.30 we recommend a reservation for the best organization of your experience on our part. Visitors can take a tour of our winery. Our team organizes guided tours every day Tuesday- Saturday at the following times: 16.30 // 18.30 // 20.30. On our guided tours, visitors will immerse themselves in the traditional techniques of Ikarian winemaking, explore the granite press where the grapes are traditionally pressed, walk next to our winery’s wine cellar and visit the stone-built pirate’s house where our aged wines are kept . The premises of our winery include the granite amphitheater “Dionysos” where events are organized throughout the summer and the folklore area with exhibits that have been donated by beloved villagers, friends and relatives and refer to the daily life of the Ikarian family of the previous century . At the end of each tour there is a tasting of fresh and aged wines in order to get to know our philosophy not only about winemaking but about life itself. As a continuation of this unique experience, you can enjoy a glass of wine at the outdoor Wine Bar of our winery overlooking the Aegean and taste platters and dishes of the day from Maria’s traditional kitchen with local products. In addition, there is the option to purchase wines from our collection from the winery shop. We are waiting for you to live unique experiences that combine nature – gastronomy – tasting with your company!

Wine bar

We are waiting for you Tuesday to Saturday from May 1st to October 30th hours 16.00 – 23.30 for accompanying platters of Greek cheeses and cold meats, handmade pies with local products, accompanying platters of local organic products, appetizers and of course to taste our rich collection of Ikarian wines in the open air area of the wine bar. Don’t forget to ask us about the dish or dessert of the day. Come and enjoy a light meal or a unique culinary experience with your company or your significant other and a view of the Aegean Sea! Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also served. You are welcome with your pet (don’t forget its leash).
